The message focuses on end-time prophecy, especially the meaning of Armageddon from a biblical perspective.

Main Themes Explained

1. What Armageddon Really Is

The sermon argues that Armageddon is not primarily a physical military battle, but a spiritual conflict between truth and deception.

It’s framed as a final confrontation over worship, allegiance, and obedience to God

Emphasis is placed on understanding prophecy symbolically rather than sensationally

2. Bible Prophecy “Falling Into Place”

A major thread throughout the message is that:

Current world conditions (moral, political, religious) are aligning with biblical end-time prophecies

These developments are presented as signs that history is moving toward its climax

3. The Great Controversy Theme

Consistent with Adventist theology, the sermon highlights:

A cosmic conflict between Christ and Satan

Humanity being drawn into this conflict through choices about truth vs deception

The idea that the final crisis centers around faithfulness to God’s commandments

4. Call to Personal Preparation

A strong practical takeaway:

Listeners are urged to prepare spiritually now, not later

Preparation includes:

Studying Scripture

Deepening relationship with God

Standing firm amid future pressure

5. Warning Against Deception

The sermon stresses:

Deception will increase near the end of time

Even sincere believers can be misled without a solid grounding in the Bible

Truth must be tested against Scripture—not tradition or popular opinion

Tone & Style

Teaching-heavy sermon (lots of Bible references and explanation)

Urgent but pastoral tone — warning combined with encouragement

Structured to build from prophecy → interpretation → personal application

It’s a prophecy-focused sermon explaining Armageddon as a spiritual end-time conflict, urging believers to prepare now by grounding themselves in biblical truth.

The Myth of Following Your Heart: A Biblical Call to True Wisdom

Follow Your Heart: We live in a world that relentlessly romanticizes the heart. After all, don’t we love getting heart-shaped cards on Valentine’s Day, or yearn for that burning in our chest that tells us that love must be real? Can our hearts be the true barometer to let us know we are on the right path? Can success in all aspects of life be as simple as following our hearts?

From childhood fairy tales to blockbuster movies, bestselling novels, and inspirational social media quotes, the message is constant and persuasive: “Follow your heart.” “Trust your heart.”
“Your heart knows what you truly need.”

It sounds noble. It feels empowering. It resonates deeply with our desire for authenticity and freedom. But it also stands in direct opposition to one of the most sobering truths found in Scripture.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” — Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV)

This is not a popular verse. It doesn’t fit neatly into a movie script or a motivational poster. Yet it is one of the most honest diagnoses of the human condition ever written.

A Culture Built on Emotional Authority

Modern culture treats the heart as the ultimate authority. Feelings are elevated above reason. Desire is placed above discipline. Emotion is crowned king.

Movies tell us that love conquers all, even wisdom, boundaries, and covenant. Books urge us to abandon caution in pursuit of passion. Songs celebrate reckless devotion. Even children’s stories repeat the theme: “Believe in yourself. Look within. The answer is already in your heart.”

There is a biological hook. ( from Kahneman, D. (2011). Thinking, Fast and Slow. Farrar, Straus and Giroux.)

Following your heart is often a euphemism for following your limbic system (the emotional brain) rather than your prefrontal cortex (the executive, rational brain). We can often feel the struggle in real-time, but often give in to the emotion. We are seduced by hope that defies reason and that lacks historical support.

Rational decision making consumes massive amounts of energy and feels like work. Emotional decisions happen instantly and feel automatic. When we decide to follow our hearts, we give ourselves permission to stop the exhausting work of analyzing the pros and cons leading to an intelligent decision.

In addition, the “heart” usually wants things that offer immediate gratification (love, food, excitement). The anticipation of this gratification releases dopamine. Sadly, logic, which often involves delaying gratification for long-term gain, does not offer this chemical kick.

We trust the idea even though there is little historical evidence to support the idea.

Therefore, the phrase, “follow your heart” is still one of the most seductive and repeated pieces of advice in human history because it appeals to our biological wiring.

But what Scripture tells us directly, may surprise you on this topic. Did you know that the Bible never tells us to follow our hearts. Not once. Instead, it repeatedly warns us about our hearts.

“He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered.” — Proverbs 28:26

This verse alone dismantles the modern worldview. Trusting your heart is not presented as courageous or enlightened—but as foolish.

A Personal Story: When My Heart Was Confident—and Wrong

I speak about this not as a detached observer, but as a man shaped by painful experience. I have been married three times. Each time I stood at the altar, I was sincere. Each time I believed—truly believed—that I was making the right choice. Each time, my heart told me this was the person God had for me. My heart was confident. My emotions were strong. My feelings were convincing.

And twice, my heart was wrong. I am still married to my third wife, and I thank God for the grace and redemption He continues to work in my life. But I cannot ignore the pattern. My heart—untethered from wisdom, discernment, and submission to God—led me into repeated pain. I didn’t enter those marriages trying to disobey God. I wasn’t trying to rebel. I was following what felt right. I was following my heart.

And Scripture had warned me all along.

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” — Proverbs 14:12 Notice the wording: seems right. It feels right. It appears right. It resonates emotionally. Yet it leads to destruction.

Why the Heart Is a Poor Compass

The heart is not evil because it feels—it is dangerous because it deceives. The heart wants what feels good now, not what is right long-term. It seeks relief, affirmation, pleasure, and connection—often without regard for consequences.

Jesus Himself explained this clearly: “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.” — Matthew 15:19

The heart is not neutral. It is not a blank slate waiting for inspiration. It is shaped by sin, fear, unmet needs, wounds, pride, and desire. Left unchecked, the human heart is like a compass spinning wildly—pointing toward whatever feels most satisfying in the moment.

Our Hunger for Wisdom

Every human being longs for wisdom. We want to make good decisions. We want to avoid regret. We want peace. The problem is not the desire for wisdom—it’s where we look for it.

The world tells us wisdom comes from within. The Bible tells us wisdom comes from above. Consider this passage from James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach.”

We live in the Information Age. If you lack facts, you ask Google. If you lack data, you ask AI. But having access to all the information in the world has not made us wiser. In fact, it often leads to analysis paralysis—the state of over-thinking a decision to the point that a choice never gets made.

Today, wisdom isn’t about knowing the facts; it is about having the discernment to know what to do with the facts. It is the ability to cut through the noise of social media, news, and infinite opinions to make the right choice for your life, family, or business.

Wisdom is not discovered by introspection alone. It is received through humility and dependence on God. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” — Proverbs 9:10

This is foundational. Wisdom does not begin with confidence in self, but with reverence for God. Without that fear, what we call “wisdom” is often just rationalized desire.

The Volvo Paradox

I often confess to my Sabbath School class that there is one specific prayer God keeps sending straight to voicemail. It involves a Volvo.

I currently drive an old one, and it serves me well. But have you seen the new ones? They are Scandinavian perfection on wheels. Naturally, being a man of faith, I took this desire to the Lord. I didn’t just ask; I presented a business case.

I used my best “sanctified logic.” I prayed, “Lord, think of the safety for my family. Think of the reliability! Imagine how much better I could serve the church mission in a vehicle that doesn’t make strange rattling noises.” Oh, the things I could do for Your Kingdom in an XC90! It was a compelling argument. But God, in His love and infinite wisdom, has has not said yes.

And here lies the friction between following your heart and seeking true wisdom. My heart says, “If you had the money, you should buy it. It’s for a good cause!” But Wisdom asks the harder question: “Just because you can, does that mean you should?” “What is the true motivation to have this impressive, impressive car”

True wisdom is recognizing that sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers because He is trying to protect our stewardship. My heart wants the heated seats; Wisdom wants me to be faithful with the resources I actually have, not the ones I wish I had. In this there is plenty to learn about following Him and not serving myself.

What Is Truth?

Pilate famously asked Jesus, “What is truth?” (John 18:38). It is a question humanity continues to wrestle with. The world defines truth as personal and flexible. “Your truth” and “my truth” coexist, even when they contradict.

But Jesus spoke with clarity: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” — John 14:6

Truth is not found in feelings manufactured my the heart. It is found in a Person.

The Word of God is truth: “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” — John 17:17

When truth is detached from Scripture, feelings rush in to fill the void. And feelings make terrible gods. Feeling often lead to actions that often lead to unexpected (or expected) consequences.

The Illusion of Peace

Many people follow their hearts in search of peace. They believe that if something feels peaceful, it must be right. But Scripture warns us of false peace. “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.” — Isaiah 48:22

True peace does not come from satisfying desire. It comes from obedience. “Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.” — Psalm 119:165

Left to ourselves, the answer is no. We are not neutral decision-makers. We are fallen creatures with broken instincts. “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way.” — Isaiah 53:6 Sheep don’t rebel intentionally—they wander. They drift. They follow impulses. We are no different. Left to our own hearts, we are like moths to a flame—drawn to what glows, unaware of the burn that follows.

Aligning The Heart

The cultural mantra “follow your heart” is dangerous because feelings are transient. One day your heart wants the Volvo; the next day it might want a sports car, and the next it might want to quit everything and move to a cabin. Aligning your heart with God provides stability. It prevents you from being tossed around by every passing desire or marketing campaign. It changes the pursuit from “what do I want right now?” to “who am I called to be?”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5. Notice the irony: we are told to use our hearts—but not to trust them. Instead, our hearts are to be placed under God’s authority.

When the Heart (passion) and the Mind (plan) are not aligned with God (purpose), you experience stress and cognitive dissonance. You might get the car, but you lose your peace because deep down, you know it wasn’t the right move. A good question to ask is, “If God is not in it, then why am I in it?”

When all three align, you get integrity. Integrity literally means “wholeness.” It means your desires, your logic, and your spirit are all pulling in the same direction. That is the only place where true stewardship happens—where you aren’t just spending money, but managing resources for a higher calling. “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:6

Direction comes not from emotion, but from surrender.

God does not leave us alone in decision-making. “When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.” — John 16:13 The Spirit does not affirm every feeling—weighs them. He does not echo desire—He corrects it.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” — Romans 8:14

Being led by the Spirit often means resisting the heart.

Your heart lives entirely in the “now.” It sees the shiny Volvo, feels the desire, and screams, “I need this to be happy!” It prioritizes immediate gratification. The Holy Spirit operates with an eternal perspective. He sees the ripple effects of your choices ten years down the road. To be led by the Spirit, you have to resist the heart’s demand for “now” in exchange for God’s “later” (or God’s “better”).

As mentioned above, Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things…” Our emotions are experts at lying to us. Your heart can convince you that a “want” is a “need” (e.g., “I need this car for safety”). The Spirit is the “Spirit of Truth.” It cuts through emotional rationalizations. You have to actively ignore the emotional sales pitch your heart is giving you and look at the cold, hard truth of scripture and stewardship.

At its core, the human heart is wired for self-preservation and self-promotion. It asks, “What will make me look good? What will make me comfortable?” The Spirit is wired to glorify God. It asks, “What will make God look good? How can I serve others?” Following the Spirit often feels like a death to self. You are denying your ego (the Volvo) to feed your spirit (Stewardship).

James 3:14–16 “But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.”

A Redeemed Heart

God’s solution is not to discard the heart—but to transform it. We might be tempted to think the solution to a deceitful heart is to become a spiritual Stoic—suppressing all desire and emotion to ensure we never make a mistake. But God created us to feel, to dream, and to desire. His plan is not to silence the heart, but to transplant it.

In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.” This is the crucial difference between behavior modification and spiritual transformation. The Holy Spirit doesn’t just veto our requests; He actually changes our “I Want.” As we align with Him, the promise of Psalm 37:4 comes into focus: “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” This isn’t a guarantee that God will give you the Volvo if you pray enough; it is a promise that as you delight in Him, your desires will begin to mirror His. The ultimate goal isn’t a suppressed heart, but a synchronized one.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” — Psalm 37:23 And in Him—not in our hearts—we find wisdom, truth, and peace.

I make this final point. The Bible shares that David was a man after God’s own heart. This is a powerful statement to make, and should inform how we live our lives today. Are we men and women that are after God’s own heart?

THE PRINCIPLE OF VERIFICATION. EVERY END-TIME PROPHECY IN ONE BIBLE PASSAGE CAN BE VERIFIED IN ANOTHER PASSAGE.

I’m gonna let you know that my focus is not going to be so much on the verses prior to Daniel 11, verse 40. I will be focusing on Daniel 11:40 and onward. I do just wanna mention a few things. First of all, I believe that our prophecies should be verified, verifiable in more ways than one. Daniel chapter 2, we can verify it in Revelation. Daniel chapter 7, we can verify it in Book of Revelation. Daniel chapter 8, Daniel Chapter 9. The major prophecies of the bible in the book of Daniel are verified in the book of Revelation.

I believe that the correct understanding 11:40-45 should be in the Book of Revelation. If it’s not, then we really have nothing to verify our conclusions, and we’re just guessing. I would suggest that verses 40 to 45 can be verified in the Book of Revelation. We know that Daniel 11, verse 40, the time of the end, we can verify that in the Book of Revelation. We know that Daniel chapter 12, verses 1 and 2, Michael standing up equals the close of probation. We can verify that in the Book of Revelation. It would seem strange that the verses in between, which are major themes, would not be found in the book of Revelation.

Having said that, let’s go ahead. I’m gonna share this. I believe that the papacy is introduced in verse 22, or rather verse 23, where the Bible speaks of the small power, or small people that grow into a greater power. I believe that parallels, the little horn of Daniel, chapter 7. It’s interesting that verse 22 is the crucifixion of Christ, by the Roman power, and then in verse 23 is the papacy. It would actually parallel, Daniel Chapter 2, where you have pagan Rome and Papal Rome, almost as if it’s one power. Toes of iron and clay.

In Daniel 7, you have the little horn mingled with the 10 toes, and then in Daniel 8, you have one symbol, the little horn, representing both pagan and papal Rome. It would make sense that Daniel 22, being the crucifixion of Christ, that verse 23, you immediately have this small people. By the way, remember that Paul said that it was after his departure that this antiChrist power would begin to come upon the scene. So it came upon the scene very early, in the early church or at the time of the early church.

I will also say that I believe that if the king of the north is the papacy in verse 23, then really, we have no other—and I’m not, you know again this is my understanding. I believe that verse 25, who of the papacy have been warring against during this, during their reign of 1260 years. I see, Islam fulfilling that role. I believe that this power, Islam is actually verified in the book of Revelation under the fifth and sixth trumpet.

It’s interesting that one of the things that’s said about these two powers is that they will speak likes at one table. If you look at the identity of the fifth and sixth trumpet, under one of those trumpets, it says that the scorpions, their power is in their tail. You know how we traditionally explain that power in their tail thing, right? Uriah Smith says it uses the quote or the Bible verse which says, “The prophet is the tail or, the prophet is the head that speaketh …” Um anyone know the verse? Is it Isaiah? Yeah. The prophet that speaketh lies is the tail, right?

WHO IS THE KING OF THE NORTH? WHO IS THE KING OF THE SOUTH IN DANIEL 11:40-45?

So let me tell you who I believe to be the king of the north and the king of the south in these final verses. First of all, let me share this. I believe the literal history of Babylon parallels the events of Daniel 11, verses 40 to 45. Let me see if I can do this quickly. So how many of you knew that Nebuchadnezzar was actually called the king of the north? Did you know that?

Nebuchadnezzar is called a king of the north and I’m going to read it here, Ezekiel 26, verse 7, “For thus say the Lord God. Behold I will bring upon Tyre, Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon, a king of kings,” notice that title. Who only does that title belong to? Jesus. “A king of kings from the north, with horses and with chariots,” oh man. Wait a minute. What? With what? With horses and chariots? As soon as you read that, as soon as you see that, you should be saying to yourself, wait a minute. So is God trying to tell us here that the history of literal Babylon will have some information for us on the identity of this spiritual Babylon at the end of time?

So by the time we get to Daniel chapter 1, Nebuchadnezzar has just defeated what nation? Egypt. You want to know why? Egypt has pushed against Babylon on behalf of Israel. So catch this. The king of the south pushes against the king of the north.

What happens is that the king of the north pushes back against the king of the south and defeats the king of the south. Once he defeats the king of the south, his attention is turned to Jerusalem, the Holy Land. He gets to Jerusalem and he basically captures Jerusalem, which brings us to Daniel chapter 1. Jerusalem, the Jews are captured by Babylon.

In Daniel chapter 2, Nebuchadnezzar hears troubling news. In fact, the Bible tells us that he has this dream and the dream what? Troubled him. And when he wakes from the dream, we know that Daniel and Shadrach or Daniel comes and explains the dream, and what do you think it is that troubled Nebuchadnezzar? He heard tidings that his kingdom was going to fall. Who did his kingdom fall to? The Medes and the Persians. Anyone want to tell me where the Medes and the Persians were located in terms of Babylon? They were from the north and the east.

Tidings from the north and the east troubled the king of Babylon. Who was the leader from the north and the east? Cyrus. Which is a type of who? Jesus. Who dries up the deep in order to overthrow Babylon? Cyrus. So what we have just seen is that the literal history of Babylon gives us insight into Daniel 11, verses 40 to 45.

So now, so now, we’re going to do this. We just need to find out one thing really quickly, and that is who is the king of the north. I’m going to read this to you again, because remember, we just saw that Nebuchadnezzar, literal Nebuchadnezzar, king of national Babylon, was described as a king of kings, a king from the north. Now the Bible says that the king of the north, when he comes, he’s going to push against or he’s going to come like an overwhelming power upon the king of the south.

Now let me say this. I believe the king of the south is atheism in 1798. You say, “Pastor, wait a minute. How’d you just switch?” Okay listen. What was the issue with atheism? What were they against? They were anti-two witnesses. Yeah? They were against the word of God. Egypt itself what not an atheistic nation because remember they worshiped other gods. As long as it wasn’t the God of the Bible. So you know what that tells me? That tells me that the king of the south is any entity that is anti-two witnesses.

So what does that mean? That includes atheism. It includes agnosticism. It includes humanism. It includes Buddhism. It includes Hinduism. It includes every religion and non-religion out there that is anti-two witnesses. In other words, the king of the south encompasses everyone that is not part of the king of the north, except God’s church.

SO NOW WHO IS THE KING OF THE NORTH?

You got to catch this because the Bible says that the king of the north will come like a whirlwind against the king of the south. So we just saw this morning, who is it that comes like a whirlwind when he comes? Jesus, the Bible tells us that he comes like a whirlwind, with horses, with fire. So think about this.

We saw the name Michael is a name used when Jesus is going up personally against Satan himself. I’m suggesting to you that in Daniel 11, verse 40, the king of the north is not just the papacy. It is not just apostate Protestantism.

The king of the north is Satan himself.

When Satan appears and that three-fold union is complete then the deadly wound is healed. Then the world wonders after the beast. See we try to say, “Oh the world is wondering after the beast” right now. No, radical Islam is not wondering after the beast. Atheists are not wondering after the beast.

It is only when the three-fold union occurs that the world will wonder. That’s when the deadly wound is healed. If the world is not wondering, we know the deadly wound cannot be healed. Three things that the king of the north comes with in Daniel 11, verse 40. He comes with chariots, with what? Chariots and horses and ships and he comes like a whirlwind. If you search the whirlwind in the Bible, you will see that it is almost exclusively used with the appearance of God.

Chariots. What kind of power is that?

Land power.

Chariots. What kind of power is that?

Sea power.

Whirlwind?

Air power.

Let me ask you something. Does the Bible tell us that there’s going to be three-fold union between a beast from the earth, a beast from the sea and the prince of the power of air? What we’re reading in Daniel 11, verse 40 is the union of those three unclean spirits, dragon, beast, false prophet. Beast from the earth, beast from the sea and the dragon himself. When that union happens, that is the only thing that can defeat atheism, Islam, and anything else that is anti-two witnesses.

The only thing that will win over Islam, atheism, agnosticism and all these other isms is when Satan himself appears and says, “See, my people were right.” As I said earlier, it would take a miracle to bring the world together, so when you’re reading in Daniel 11, verse 40, that this king of the north is able to sweep through all of these entities, it’s like he’s sweeping through the whole world and everyone is just bowing at his feet. The reason is because I believe this is what Ellen White describes as the overmastering delusion.

By the way, if you study the seven kings of Revelation 17, the other who is not yet come, and when he comes all the world wonders, that’s the one. The pope is to Satan what John the Baptist was to Jesus. Our eyes are on the pope. “You saw what the pope did yesterday?” You get what I’m saying? The pope is to Satan what John the Baptist was to Jesus. He only prepares the way. He is not the one.

So when the king of the north comes, this is not, this is not excluding the papacy or apostate Protestantism. It is actually a merger. So watch this. The king of the north and king of the south, in verses 1 to verse 22, are strictly political. But when we get to verse 23 and onward, the king of the north and king of the south are now religio-political.

I’ve got another study where I show that God brought Islam upon the scene to help the Protestant Reformation survive. So, okay. Papacy, you’re going to use your religio-political power to persecute my people. I’m going to bring a religio-political power to deal with you, and give my people time to continue the Reformation.

Now at Daniel 11 verse 40, what you have now is a merger of dragon, beast, false prophet for king of the north and a merger of all anti-two witness groups around the globe.

So let me share something else.

In Daniel 2 we see a stone cut out without hands smites this image, not on the head, not on the chest, not on the legs but on the toes of iron and clay. Man, what did the toes of iron and clay do? What was God so mad about?

In Daniel 7, we get to know a little bit more about this man. Hey this man, he looks kind of, he has gold, silver, but wait a minute. On the inside he’s kind of like crooked. It’s the same man of Daniel 2. In Daniel 7, we get to learn a little bit more about that man. Oh, yeah, this man, whoa, he is rebelling against God and he’s thinking to change times and laws. He’s exulting himself against the prince of the covenant.

In Daniel 11, we see the inner workings of the man of Daniel 2. Recall that God looks upon the heart—the inner workings. You know what the inner workings of this statue, this man, are? Listen carefully. A kingdom divided against itself shall not stand. Why doesn’t the image in Daniel 2 stand? Because the kingdom is divided against itself.

Listen, guys. If the king of the south is really atheism and all these other isms, who really heads up atheism? Who really heads up the other isms?

Yeah, check this out.

Do you know that atheism came out of the abyss, just like the fifth and sixth woe? They both come out of the same place. The fifth and sixth woe. Islam, they have a king over them called Apollyon. We understand Apollyon to be who? Satan.

So wait a minute. Pastor, what are you saying? Here’s what I’m saying beloved.

THE KING OF THE NORTH IS REALLY SATAN. THE KING OF THE SOUTH, IS REALLY SATAN.

Wait, what? Yes! He’s playing the world. He’s saying, okay, I can’t get you to be spiritual. I’m going to tell you God doesn’t exist. Atheism, yay! French Revolution, you know human rights and we don’t want God in the picture and socialism and yeah, yeah, yeah. All these things while on the right, he’s saying, oh yeah. Okay, I can get you to leave. No I’m God. No, no, no, no, no. Not that. I’m God.

And so beloved, what happens is that when you are reading Daniel 11, all you’re reading is what the world would be like if Satan ran it. A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. Now remember, the king of the north and the king of the south are really against God’s people. At the end of time, the king of the south merges with the king of the north, because a miracle is what it takes to bring them together. Seeing is believing. When they see Satan impersonate Christ, they will believe.

Now in the meantime, guess what Satan’s doing? He is actually attempting to infiltrate God’s church with the spirit of the king of the north and the spirit of the king of the south.

Did you catch that?

So now what we have happening is the spirit of the world enter the church. You’re seeing this polarization within our church and what I believe is that Satan is trying to weaken our church through these principles of liberalism and conservatism in the name of God. That is not true conservatism.

Weakening the church so that when he makes his final attack, a kingdom divided against itself will not stand, but we know that will fail because Michael will come to deliver his people.

Its All Legal – Law-Fully His!

God has a throne whose foundation is righteousness and judgment which stands for the law (Psalms 97:2). In the sanctuary the mercy seat represented the throne of God which sat upon the ark which contained the law, foundation of God’s throne. The law of God is the very expression of God’s character. Salvation is legal matter.

Pastor Randy Skeet is conducting a week of prayer at the Chula Vista SDA Church, California from 6/9/2012 to 6/16/2012. It’s All Law – Full: This is the second sermon given on the Sabbath of 6/9/2012 during the divine service. The theme of the week of prayer is IT’S ALL LEGAL. The sermon is entitled “IT IS ALL LEGAL”. Pharaoh set Joseph over all the land of Egypt and told him “..only in the throne will I be greater than thou”. Gen 42:41,40. The throne is the highest position. Salvation is legal matter. Damnation is a legal matter. It all revolves around the law. It requires that disobedience is punishable by death. Jesus died for us to pay the price for the sinners to fulfill the requirement of the law. When all of our life is covered by the life of Christ then we have fulfilled the requirement of the law and do not have to die. Jesus has the right to save everyone who repents and gives his life to Him. It is illegal for Jesus to save the life of someone who did not surrender his life to Jesus. It is a legal matter. ‘ We don’t need the law’ is a satanic teaching. To conquer God’s kingdom and overthrow Him, Satan needs to overthrow the law of God. We need to come to the place where we shall say “I love the law of God”.

I enjoy listening to sermons in the car. But it is hard sometime to search out new sermons while travelling. So I hope you discover and appreciate this sermon as I did. Discipline. I was expecting something different; like perhaps a lecture in becoming more organized or temperate. I felt this morning that I needed a talking to. So even before I fired up the car I found this on
AudioVerse and as I traveled from Hamilton to Toronto I listened to this surprising and well delivered sermon that although it did not lecture me on discipline, it is certainly an excellent sermon suggestion from me to you.

Discipline: By Kameron DeVasher

I also of course recommend AudioVerse.org for other relevant sermons. Although most are audio sermons, many are video also. But if you are looking to have in your audio library, excellent sermons for your daily commute, or for simple a once-in-awhile thought adjustment, I recommend Audio Verse at www.audioverse.org
